Course Descriptions

DTH 601 - Sermon on the Mount - This course explains Christ's teaching in the Sermon on the Mount and incisively applies it to the Christian life.  It is a comprehensive and exhaustive study of our Lord's words as recorded in Matthew chapters five, six and seven.

DTH 602 - Prophets as Preachers -

DTH 603 - Pauline Theology II - This course’s task is not merely to reproduce Paul's thinking on various topics but to rightly estimate what is most important in his thinking and to set forth the inner connections between the various themes .  This course will give us a sound and insightful exposition and assessment of Paul's theology.

DTH 604 - Apologetics IV - This course presents the Savior at His convincing best.  The most tentative Christian - or belligerent dkeptic--will find meaty arguments for the Godhood of Christ through His parables, prophecies, and more.

DTH 605 - Theology of the Reformers -

DTH 606 - Martyrs to Missionaries - This course reminds us that, as humans, we are all theologians.  Just experiencing ourselves, others, and the world raises theological questions in our minds.  Questinos to be answered: Can God be known? Where did the universe come from? How do I know whta is right and wrong? Who is Jesus Christ? What is our ultimate destiny as humans?

DTH 607 - Systematic Theology -This course focuses on the philosophical underpinningsd of Christianity, and displays grasp of the foundatinos and implications of Christian theology.  It will examine and defend the philosophical essentials (preconditions) which make Christianity both possible and viable.  The preconditions include: the metaphusical, the supernatural, the revelational, the rational, the semantical, the epistemological, the oppoistional, the linguistic, the jermeneutic, the historical and methodological.

DTH 608 - World Religions - This course will help you understand the beliefs and practices of religious people around the world.  You will learn how to communicate your beliefs and faith to people of other religions.
