DCE 601 - Developmental Perspective - This course you will receive the discipline of developmental psychology in understanding spiritual growth. You will examine developmental theory from a Christian perspective and suggests practical applications of it to local church ministry contexts. DCE 602 - Teaching for Results - This course lays out a carefully crafted, step-by-step approach to help improve effectiveness in identifying teaching objectives, choosing the appropriate one for each situation, and developing a plan to meet the objective. DCE 603 - Teaching the Faith - Why does the church teach? And what should it teach? Many Christians have not learned the fundamental doctrinal content of the faith. As a response, a growing number of church ministries have moved toward an emphasis on Christian spiritual formation, But churches must hold together education and formation, the teaching of the faith and the forming of the faithful. DCE 604 - Across Cultural Barriers - This course defines seven characteristics that best enhance the effectiveness of discipliners in overcoming cultural barriers and emphasizes the importance of personally growing in spiritual maturity with every outreach opportunity.
