Course Descriptions
BAC 401 - Doctrine - This course will explain what theology is and then progresses through the doctrines of revelation, God, creation and providence, humanity, sin, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the atonement and salvation, the church, and eschatology. It will also give you pedagogical aids and chapters on post-modernity and contemporizing the gospel.
BAC 402 - Basic Christian Theology - This course reminds us that, as humans, we are all theologians. Just experiencing ourselves, others, and the world raises theological questions in our minds. Questions to be answered: Can God be known? Where did the universe come from? How do I know what is right and wrong? Who is Jesus Christ? What is our ultimate destiny as humans? BAC 403 - New Testament Survey - This course will introduce the New Testament and give a broad understanding of the context and themes of the individual 27 books of the New Testament. BAC 404 - Old Testament Survey - This course will introduce the Old Testament and give a broad understanding of the context and themes of the individual 39 books that make up the Old Testament.
